We were sitting in Rosepepper with Ben and Dru, enjoying our (scrumptious) meal, when Olivia looked up from her seat and said, “Da, da, da, da, da”.  For the rest of the evening.  Purposefully.  Once she stopped, I looked at her and said “Da da?” and it set her off again with much smiling and head nodding.  She will be saying “Dadda” as her first word, like most children do.

This will be, of course, a much better Father’s Day Gift than anything I can do.  Seriously, how am I going to top that?

You sure that was ‘da da da da’ ? Maybe it was ‘do da do da’ !

It was definitively, “Da da da da”. However, “Do da, Do da” can’t be far behind. She’s chanting behind me even as I type this….

Kaelan’s first word was pizza…followed by Dada. Mackenzie’s first word was Mama though. Kaelan says my name hundreds of times a day, so maybe if you have a 2nd maybe you can enjoy being the first word 😉 then.
