This is my 2nd bento. I took a few lessons from my first bento.
First, no cheese on the salad – it absorbed the moisture and became gooey, almost as if it had melted. Not appetizing.
Next, no ramon. I thought my aversion to ramon had gone away, but as I struggled through the last bowl, I realized it hadn’t quite disappeared. Maybe, just maybe, a different flavor would work better.
I’ve prepared this on the night before and I’m really hoping the banana holds up. Its sitting, sealed, in the fridge right now, but I’ll check in the morning and replace it if necessary.
The nuts and chocolate were fantastic – this will likely be a staple!
