3/4 ecstatic, 1/4 terrified

I’ve been suspicious since March 15. I started to feel these odd sensations in my abdomen and felt so sluggish in the mornings. That sounded crazy in my head, so I just waited for my monthly “friend”… which never came. Skip to March 30 – first positive pregnancy test. I retested the next day just to be sure.

The look on Ian’s face when I told him was classic. Shock, then amazement, then a silly grin, then back to shock. We’re waiting to tell our families til later in the first trimester, just in case it doesn’t work out. That’s going to be so difficult. We’re going to tell them at Easter! I want to tell the whole world… we’re having a baby.
